Rwanda to be a global community with e-government program

The government of Rwanda is yet to put up a master plan for good governance through ICT that will reduce all limitations in different levels of administration.
This program will be carried out by the NIPA, a South Korean society.

This was explained by Minister Nsengimana on this Tuesday the 10th September 2013 in the meeting of his ministry and NIPA (National IT Promotion Agency) to discuss the development of the good governance master plan.
Rwanda as a country that is trying to provide good governance to its people and to develop with the use of technology, it is making use of the 2 policies good governance and Technology to change its people for the better.
This program will make it easy for a person to get access to all services without moving but by using computer or telephones.
The minister for youth and ICT Hon. Jean Philbert Nsengimana explains that Rwanda has a general master plan that includes promotion of Technology and how people can use it to achieve personal development.
“today we wanted to discuss how far we have gone in e-Government, we intend to make Rwanda the first African country that uses ICT to provide services to its people and in the private sector” says the Minister
Up to today, Rwanda is still working on eradication of illiteracy among her people and trying to provide the IT tools in all parts of the people.
